Latin American Launch: TINOX® TPW Series — Hybrid Pigment White
Abrafati 2025 marked the Latin American debut of our TINOX® TPW Series hybrid pigment whites — an innovative product range that combines rutile-type TiO₂ with ultra-fine functional fillers to enhance TiO₂ scattering efficiency, reduce pigment consumption and lower CO₂ emissions per unit versus pure TiO₂. The TPW Series gives Brazilian paint manufacturers a technically sound, cost-effective alternative in an environment of rising TiO₂ costs and supply uncertainty.
- TINOX® TPW-714 — Neutral Undertone Hybrid Pigment
TPW-714 is our balanced hybrid grade offering excellent hiding power, brightness and strong gloss with a neutral undertone — ideal for tinted paint bases and general architectural applications in both waterborne and solvent-borne systems. Its neutral colour character makes it the preferred choice where colour consistency across tint shades is critical. - TINOX® TPW-716 — Bluish Undertone Premium Hybrid Pigment
TPW-716 is our premium hybrid grade, engineered for applications requiring maximum whiteness and a bluish undertone — the specification favoured in premium exterior architectural coatings and high-gloss industrial topcoats. TPW-716 delivers optical performance closely comparable to pure TiO₂ while significantly reducing formulation cost and carbon footprint.
